A Taste of Summer at the Clubhouse: Our Menu for 2026

Ask any of our team what makes a great day at the Clubhouse and food will come up within the first sentence. Mealtimes here are social occasions. They're where friendships form, stories get told, and second helpings are always on offer.

So we're rather proud to share what's on the table this summer.

Your morning welcome

Every day begins the same way: a warm welcome, a good cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee, and a little something to go with it. Choose from toast and preserves, warm crumpets, fruit loaf with butter, yoghurt pots or fresh pastries. It's a gentle, unhurried start — exactly how mornings should be.

Lunch, the main event

Lunch at the Clubhouse is a proper two-course affair, cooked with care and served in our social dining room. This summer you'll find favourites like roast chicken with all the trimmings, baked cod with new potatoes and broccoli, and rich beef bourguignon, always with a choice of potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Puddings deserve their own mention. Think apple crumble with custard, fruit trifle, lemon sponge and sticky toffee pudding. Smaller portions are always available, and seconds are never refused.

Lighter and vegetarian options are on the menu every single day, and our team caters for individual dietary needs — just let us know when you book.

Fish and Chip Friday

Some traditions are worth protecting. Every Friday, we serve award-winning fish and chips from Charlie's of Mobberley. It's already the most talked-about lunch of the week, and we suspect it always will be.

Afternoon tea, done properly

Before home time, we gather for a traditional afternoon tea: finger sandwiches, scones with jam, and a slice of something lovely — Victoria sponge is a firm favourite. On warm days, there's no better spot for it than beside our sensory garden.

Always something to drink

Alongside a full selection of Twinings teas, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit juices, our all-day hydration station serves chilled lemon and cucumber water with added electrolytes. Staying refreshed through the summer months matters, and we make it effortless — and rather delicious.

Hungry? Come and taste it for yourself. Book a Welcome Tour or your first day pass, and lunch is on us.
